After writing my last post “2017: The Minimalist Year” I was scanning through my previous posts and asking myself if those were really the kinds of content I wanted to keep doing in my blog. You see, half of the things that I blog about, fashion wised, well half of those things I don’t ever wear or have in my wardrobe or even like to write about. I realized I was just trying to appeal to an audience and keep up with the things that are on trend. I study and research fashion the same as any fashion blogger would, but to be completely honesty my real fashion style is always the same, it might change to adapt to the seasons/ weather, but it would rarely change to keep up with today’s modern fashion. I decided I wanted to base this blog through a concrete foundation of honesty and RELATE to a type audience rather than writing a post on things that don’t define me . Ever since I wrote my previous post I realized I have so much about my life to talk about that I’m sure some people can relate to and would enjoy reading. I want to make this blog about me and have people connect with me. I’ve always been scared to put my life on the internet, but my whole point is that there’s always a message to be learned through any experience even if it happens to be a bad one and I would like to share mine. I think I have great stories to share and don’t worry these won’t bore you out, I hope. Yes, I would keep fashion and beauty blogging, but it would be more on the styles that I go for, or OOTD. Im also getting back to doing photography so I would love to share those as well…
To a year of new content and creativity.
Hey guys, so I was just browsing the web for some new booties, which I’ve been obsessed with btw, and I ended up on ASOS who to my LUCKY surprise is having a 70% Off Sale!!!! Yes, you’ve heard right, 70% Off so you better get on there and shop your booty off! I found 3 pairs of black booties that are to die for, so I thought I would share them with you and give you a little idea on how I would style them.
This trend born back in the 19th century when U.S navy sailors use to wear them for easy roll up access during duty times has been past down generations becoming a high fashion statement in the ’70s. This piece was most popularly worn by then famous pop/rock duo Sonny and Cher. They really were a way to transmit and represent the personalities of the up and coming pop/rock/disco movement and high fashion that the 60’s & 70’s were known for. Today the bell bottoms have been reincarnated and they will always have a dearest please in our closets. Bell bottoms worn with chunky heeled wedges and booties are a great way to add hight, just look at how they enhanced Cher’s legs. Still to this day she is the Queen of Bell bottoms! They can also add a chic boho look to your wardrobe, whether is denim to funky patterns, they will always work in your favor. The ’60s and ’70s are definitely making a mark this 2015 and I am loving it.
-Here are the best Sonny & Cher bell bottoms moments in the ’70s, Enjoy.

It’s Monday, Whoooho! Yet you still tired from a long weekend of partying and staying up all night. And as a girl I know how hard it is to put together an outfit without looking like a mess when you’re so tired. Well the solution here is to go simple! Yes simple, by just grabbing a simple top and a statement complicated skirt and jewelry, you will have the world yelling, “Yaaas work it!” without it knowing you had to pop some Advil for the headache and sip 2 cups of espresso before living the house. Skirts are the way to go for lazy Mondays, trust me you’ll be comfortable throughout the day.
